What we holdOur privacy notice explains what we collect about parents and students, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Assigned, not assumed.

Who holds it

Hudeyfa Hassan, co-founder and Head of Teaching, is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. He is a qualified teacher who works in SEND education.

What that means for you

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead gives safeguarding clear, named accountability, with written safeguarding and child protection procedures behind it.

If your concern is about a member of staff, tell us when you get in touch so it is handled by somebody other than the person concerned.

If your concern is about the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ask to speak to another member of Mundamind Education LLP, or use the external routes below. You do not have to raise it with us at all.

Who is in the room with your child.

Vetted before they teach

Everyone who works with children at Mundamind is appropriately vetted. An enhanced DBS check with barred-list checks is completed and confirmed before they work with students.

Never more than five students to a tutor

Our in-person groups are capped at five students to one tutor. That limit supports close supervision, and gives a tutor the room to notice when a student needs them.

Qualified teachers and subject specialists

Our team combines qualified teachers and subject specialists.

Taught in person, at our own centre

Every session takes place in person at our Tooting High Street centre.

If something is wrong.

Tell us

Speak to a member of staff at the centre, call 07496 457482, or email admin@mundamindeducation.co.uk.

If you believe a child may be at immediate risk, do not wait for a reply from us. Use one of the external routes on this page, or call 999 in an emergency.

If you want to make a formal complaint rather than raise a safeguarding concern, let us know. We handle it under our complaints policy and respond as soon as reasonably possible, and within 28 days.

Our safeguarding and complaints policies are available to parents on request.

You can contact external safeguarding services directly. If you are worried about a child’s safety, or want to raise a concern about a registered childcare provider, you do not need to come to us first.
