11+ · Years 5–6
Entrance papers, without dropping everything else.
11+ preparation for Years 5 and 6, built around the schools your child is applying to. Maths and English sessions, with verbal and non-verbal reasoning taught where those schools test it. £17 a session.

What the schools test
There is no single 11+ exam.
So we start with the schools on your list and prepare for the assessment your child will actually sit.

How it is taught
Only what the schools ask for.
If your child’s schools test Maths and English, that is what we prepare. We don’t add reasoning lessons they won’t need.
Maths and English sessions
The core of 11+ preparation, taught at your child’s level and stretched towards the standard the papers expect.
Reasoning, where it is tested
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning can be taught within the Maths and English sessions, so your child doesn’t need extra sessions for them.
Exam technique, inside each subject
Timing, question formats and checking are taught as part of the subject, not sold as a separate course.
School work carries on
Year 5 and 6 work continues, including the Year 6 national tests. The preparation supports both.
Is Year 6 too late to start?
It depends on when in Year 6, the schools and what is already secure. If we don’t think there is enough time, we’ll tell you.
What if my child does not get a place?
We cannot guarantee an offer. Our preparation is built around what the schools on your list assess, while keeping the work right for your child’s current level.
Do we need four separate sessions a week?
No. Preparation follows what your child’s schools test. Where reasoning is needed, it can be taught within the Maths and English sessions.
