About Mundamind Education
Built around the tuition we wanted to provide.
Mundamind Education is a tuition centre on Tooting High Street, registered with Ofsted. We teach students from Year 4 to GCSE in groups of no more than five to a tutor, and we have been teaching in Tooting since 2022.
Why we started.
We started Mundamind because we believed students should be able to get genuinely individual attention without one-to-one tuition being the only way to get it.
Before Mundamind, Hudeyfa taught at a large tuition centre in South London. He saw that some students could thrive in a larger system, while others needed much more individual attention when they were struggling or had gaps in their learning.
Mundamind was built around that problem: small groups, students working at the level they actually need, and tutors with enough room to notice when someone is falling behind.
Who runs Mundamind.
Hudeyfa Hassan
Co-founder · Qualified teacher · Designated Safeguarding Lead
Hudeyfa is a qualified teacher who works in SEND education. He assesses every new student himself, sets the level their work starts at, and remains part of the teaching team at the centre.
He taught Mundamind’s first classes, and the way the centre teaches now grew out of that classroom experience.
Mohamed Al-Musawi
Co-founder · Chartered Engineer
Mohamed is a Chartered Engineer working in building-services consultancy in London, with a First Class MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University. He and Hudeyfa taught Mundamind’s first students together.
He leads the operational side of the centre, and works directly with our Year 10 and Year 11 students on what comes after GCSE — sixth form, college and subject choices.
Who teaches your child.
Our team combines qualified teachers with subject specialists. Pupils normally keep the same tutor, so the person teaching them gets to know their work over time.
