Small-group tuition · Tooting High Street

Small groups where every child is seen, not supervised.

Maths, English and Science for Years 4 to 11. Each group shares one subject and one tutor, with no more than five pupils. Your child starts where their assessment places them, and the tutor teaches, checks and corrects their work all the way through the two hours.

The assessment is free. There is nothing to pay unless you decide to start.

Inside the two hours

A tutor who keeps checking, from start to finish.

Sessions follow the same rhythm. The tutor goes over last week’s work, teaches the next step, watches your child practise it, and deals with mistakes before they set in.

watch the sign slip, or concept?

The same wrong answer can mean different things. A slip gets a quick correction. A misunderstanding stops the work, and the idea is taught again a different way before your child practises any more of it.

Why five

Small enough to notice. Big enough to be a class.

Time for every child

With five pupils, the tutor can teach one child the next step, set them practising, and be back to check before a mistake becomes a habit.

A calm room to work in

Children work alongside others studying the same subject, in a quiet, focused room rather than a crowded one.

A price families can manage

Teaching a small group is what lets us charge £17 to £20 for two hours. Individual attention without the cost of one-to-one tuition.

Who teaches

Who is in the room with your child.

Qualified teachers and subject specialists, and we tell you which is which. Your child normally keeps the same tutor, so the person teaching them knows their work.

The free assessment

Before we recommend anything, we find out where your child is.

Bring your child to the centre. They work on the subject you are worried about while we talk with you. We mark it afterwards, then call you with what we found and what we suggest.

If we don’t think your child needs tuition, or we are not the right setting for them, we will say so.

From parents and pupils

In their own words.

Most families come through word of mouth.

The class sizes are small and the atmosphere was very calm and studious. … The peace of mind knowing that my daughter was in safe hands, that is invaluable to me …
Simone L.Parent
